Gallery

I see photography as a passion and the best way to better understand and teach others about the unimaginably complex world of insect biology.

Please check out some of my galleries below and under my 'Gallery' tab!

To use any of my images outside of a classroom setting, please first reach out to me to obtain expressed consent.

Educational use is allowed. And I would love to see the finished product!

Vectors

This Aedes japonicus mosquito is a ubiquitous nuisance in Ithaca. On and around campus, it far outnumbers any other species.

Keep an eye out for my pics of black-legged ticks, Aedes vexans, and other vectors of disease!

Jumping Spiders

Jumping spiders are exceptionally beautiful and challenging photography subjects.

I found this Habronattus icenoguli in Big Bend National Park. Its small size is more than made up for by its fantastic coloration.

Check out my 'Jumping Spiders' gallery for more!
